Hilmar, our travel consultant was superb. He promptly answered all emails and was extremely knowledgeable.
The entire tour package was exactly what we had requested and the accommodations at Guesthouse Sunna met our expectations for location, size of rooms, service and good good. On our Golden Circle Tour we had the most amazing tour guide, Arsthor. I have taken many tours over the years in different countries and he was by far the Best. I highly recommend this agency. We have just completed the Express Iceland Tour offered by Nordic Visitor, extended by two days. After the apprehension of whether Bardarbunga or the remains of hurricane Christobal would end up cancelling our flights into Iceland, the holiday went like a dream.
The organisation of every hotel, every excursion and the car hire experience were all perfect. We managed to go to the Blue Lagoon, Glacier boat ride, horseriding with Hestasport and Snorkelling in Silfra. We even had an amazing Northern Lights show at Skagalfjordur.
The only thing we did not manage was to fly over the fissure eruption at Holohraun because they started operation on our last day and by then everything was fully booked.
Hotels were better than I had expected and I was very lucky with the weather. Excellent value, my friends in Australia recommended it and so will I. We felt very prepared to travel around Iceland on our own. The communication prior to the trip was very thorough and our detailed itinerary was well organized and very detailedwe even stopped for the homemade ice cream.
All the vouchers were very clear and easy to use. We had an incredible vacation visiting an incredible country. We love Nordic Visitor. Thank you so much for a wonderful honeymoon. My husband and I had the adventure of our lives, and it kicked off the adventure we'll be having for the rest of our lives. Every part of our trip was perfect, and I can't wait to return. I would like to say it was a marvellous trip and Irja did a wonderful job and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed it.
We have recommended your tour agency to numerous friends and travellers we have met. We went to Norway last year with you. Everything was as advertised and organised.
It all went off like clockwork. It was a marvellous experience and our tour organiser did a wonderful job and we had a trip that we will remember the rest of our lives. The most beautiful country I've ever seen and the Icelanders are very helpful and hospitable. The tour itself was very carefully organized in advance and went off without a hitch.
Nordic Visitor organized a flawless experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Iceland. We did not know what to expect in having a trip planned for us.
We always plan trips ourselves. This trip we had limited time to play ahead and needed someone to take care of all the logistics for us. We are forever happy we went through Nordic Visitor. I truly believe it is what made our trip so much fun and easy. We've never used a travel agency before and we were bit sceptical. We launched four brand new products this year and dramatically increased the pace of our innovation.
The results of this have set us on a course to better meet the needs of our customers today, but importantly, tomorrow too. We have some amazing products and technology in development. We recognize that, while we have market-leading solutions, we have opportunities to increase customer value and help them solve other business issues.
This recognition has led us to broaden our approach, solidify our focus for 2017, and focus on solutions that help customers improve their entire workflow, rise above their competition and satisfy brand owners. Digital is a key strategic focus for us. Historically, companies viewed labeling as a background process.
That started to change as many moved away from fragmented solutions and decentralized labeling operations to centralize labeling processes and standardize on label management systems. As we look to 2017, we expect companies to take advantage of the productivity gains and cost savings that next generation label management systems provide. New levels of print productivity will deliver process improvement that drives down the cost of labeling. Companies will benefit from increased agility that will allow them to easily comply with regulations, meet customer requirements, ship product faster and sell more.
Business users will be able to take ownership for labeling so that costly IT resources can focus on other mission critical tasks. Labor costs associated with labeling will drop and hidden indirect labeling costs like fines, recalls, production shutdowns and shipping delays can essentially be eliminated. Growing companies will be able to streamline labeling outside the enterprise by extending labeling to third parties.
Consumers are demanding more customized and attractive label designs, and we expect that to continue next year. Prior to digital printing, manufacturers relied on smaller individual batch runs to achieve similar levels of personalization found in the market today. We believe that product portfolio will grow even larger in 2017, which will require a greater demand for digitally personalized labels. To accommodate this shift and embrace cutting-edge digital print technology, FLEXcon has developed new topcoats, which can be coated on their industry recognized components so converters can continue to sell into applications with specifications while utilizing the new digital printers currently available in the market.
Our topcoats have all been fully optimized to take advantage of the latest digital print technology, and are compatible with the top printers in the market. The concept of Big Data is not new and has been around for some time already but it is going to stay and be ever-more important for label converters and packaging producers. How can we use it for sustainable growth. The amount of data that is available is so huge and its management has never been more important.
Our Business Intelligence and Smart Statistics tools will be high in demand over the coming year. Why not start with virtual reality and 3D technology. I don't think it will be long before the benefits of going digital outweigh the costs associated with getting into that market. While there will always be a place for high production printers within the markets, I think that we will begin to see a lot more small printing companies using digital technology to produce short to medium sized runs.
With this increase in the number of small printing companies will come with it an increase in the demand for digital printing solutions (of which there are already many) and digital finishing solutions. Specifically, I think we will see a move away from knife finishers and a push towards more laser finishing solutions.
This shift is something that is already being addressed by companies like Anytron and others who are creating affordable laser finishing options. Jay Dollries, CEO, Innovative Labeling SolutionsBrands are struggling to engage and retain consumers who are increasingly immune to traditional marketing efforts.
Relevancy, speed to market, SKU proliferation and continued consumer demand for customized packaging are a few of the driving forces shaping our predictions for 2017:www. The trend towards smaller run lengths will continue and I expect this will be the year that the flexible packaging market, which has so far been very much in the early stages of digital adoption, to start making serious strides in exploiting the benefits of shorter runs, shorter lead times, customisation, etc.
The label market will continue to expand, with more automation in the workflow to support that growth. Web-to-print will also rise and printers will offer more and more services such as labels, sleeves and packaging all under one roof. The effect of this will see some printers consolidating and growing, whilst smaller print houses may struggle to compete unless they can find a way to add value to their services.
End-to-end artwork and digital asset management systems will allow packaging companies greater flexibility and more timely response to changing market conditions, including new product development, and to accommodate increasing regulatory change requirements. We will also see the various digital print technologies continue their push to become the dominant printing technology in the packaging sector.Overall, I enjoyed the class and it was well worth the time spent.
Instructor John Verzani provided timely and detailed responses to each and every question posted on the forum. His depth of knowledge in both statistics and R and his passion for teaching are the major contribution to the success of this class. I took this class out of general curiosity and the fact that it used Python, which is increasingly attractive to me in building my own software tools.
To my delighted surprise I found the course to be one of the very best (out of more than 20) I have taken at Statistics. It proved a harmonious blend of theory (buttressed by relevant reading and videos by the instructor), focused homework exercises, and training in Python coding. As a result I learned much and enjoyed the process greatly. I was particularly impressed with the instructor's choice of homework assignments, which fascinated me, and with the importance he placed in students writing clear, even elegant, Python code.
This is my fifth course using Python at Statistics. Allan Leis is a seasoned professional, working in the field, and it was a luxury having him cast an experienced gaze on my rudimentary code.
It's the kind of thing that would never happen in a MOOC and shows the value of a course such as this. Within 2 weeks of taking this class, I was able to produce far more informative plots than I ever had before. I'm inspired to take more classes and learn as much as I can about this wonderful new world. A friend recommended it several years ago, but I opted for free MOOCs instead, which haven't worked for me. The small size of the classes, the attention by the instructor, and the assignments bode well for learning.
All in all - a great course.
It was perfect, much recommended to anybody wanting to understand the dynamics behind political microtargeting and how it can be applied to business. Many theoretical aspects that were known in the past have been empirically implemented with wonderful exercises of Mr. I have never had an online class before, and I have typically heard bad things about them, so I was shocked when I found out just how easy this course was to manuever.
I really liked the format - it allowed me to work at my own pace yet still check in with the teacher and the other students. A really great experience for my first online course. Both the instructor and the teaching assistant were approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable about the subject matter, and provided constructive feedback about discussion board posts and assignment submissions.
The textbook will be a valuable resource for future projects. He interacted meaningfully with students throughout the week. Was open to all questions and Displayed expertise of material. Would take another course with him. Iterative grading was helpful. Thank you so much Professors for this useful course. I very much liked XLMiner, it is indeed a very simple yet powerful toolI was really impressed with the clarity, knowledge, engagement level, and patience of the instructor.
His contribution in the forums made this the most useful online learning experience I've had (and I've tried a few different venues)I like the course very much and the material given to us was excellent. I enjoy very much learning about simulations and using Cristal ball software.
Also this course has given me valuable information about how to approach a risk analysis, and the software model assistant is very interestingI found it challenging but also a rewarding experience.Aftership makes online seller and dropahippers lives easier. Thank you for your recent purchase. We hope you love it. If you do, would you consider posting an online review. This helps us to continue providing great products, and helps potential buyers to make confident decisions.
Nothing can make a customer feel quite as appreciated than receiving a personal email from the business owner. We are constantly striving to provide the ideal experience for our customers, and your input helps us to define that experience. Involve your employees in the process. Stress the importance of customer reviews to your staff and ask that they send personal emails to customers.
Note: Be sure to keep email correspondence short and sweet. Businesses can utilize thank you pages to collect customer reviews. If you enjoyed your shopping experience, tell us (and others) about it. Reviews help us to not only improve our products and services but also to let others know that we care about delivering the best quality.
Let them know by writing a review. Other business owners understand the value of a review, and leaving one on their website or listing may be enough to get one from them without even asking.
However, there are opportunities to ask for reviews from them as well. Smith, I really have enjoyed working with you on this project and value your insight. Would you be willing to share your experience with our company by contributing a short review for our testimonial page.
People are more than willing to lend their voice to a company they feel has met their expectations and want to return the favor. Good luck and happy reviewing. How to Ask for a Review in Person Asking for a review in person can be intimidating but it is often the most effective approach, so if the opportunity presents itself, seize it.
Ask in Response to Praise The easiest scenario would be that of a customer who approaches you with unsolicited praise. Customer: For sure, thank you for providing such great service. Did you find everything you were looking for today. How was your experience in our store today.
Ways to Ask for Reviews via Email Asking for reviews via email is a no-brainer and there are a couple of ways you can approach this. We will be forever grateful. Thank you in advance for helping us out. Thank you in advance for your review and for being a preferred customer. We hope to see you again soon. Ways to Ask for Reviews via Thank You Pages Businesses can utilize thank you pages to collect customer reviews. That was a great balance.
I also appreciated the absence of unexpected pressure or expense to add on additional transportation or side tours that some tour packages market. And I appreciated the absence of pressure to tip tour guides and drivers.
In some countries there is high specific pressure to pay certain amounts to those workers. I prefer the staff to be paid well up front and to leave tips optional. The support that Cicci and her colleagues provided was outstanding. We had a few minor things that needed to be adjusted during our trip and we received immediate and prompt service. All questions were addressed quickly and when changes were required, all our requests were met with a willing attitude.
The trip was wonderful and it was nice to know that we had someone to contact should we have encountered any problems. We were very pleased with the service provided by our travel consultant, Sofia. She was very prompt in replying to all our queries. We enjoyed the itinerary where different experiences were offered - various train rides and cruises. The hotels were good, all centrally located and spacious with very good breakfasts provided.
Everything is planned for with detailed information, maps and vouchers. All we needed to do was present ourselves at the various venues. We felt assured that there is someone who knows our plans and who we could call upon should we require any assistance. I would definitely recommend Nordic Visitor to anyone who wants to go Scandinavia on a free-and-easy yet have all the hassle of planning taken care of. Christoph did an excellent job in arranging this tour for my family. Very well done and very appreciate the efforts put in to this arrangement.
Please express our sincere thanks to Christoph. This survey is a bit late in arrival. But better late than never. After all these months, we still think of the Scotland trip and how well it was planned. We still remember Christoph. I have put comments in TripAdvisor but again, Helga was terrific. We can use it as an input to create a model that will use to weight each instance accordingly.
In this case, fraudulent transactions will weigh 10 times more than valid transactions in the model building computations. You can just use one of the rows and add the corresponding count as a weight field.
This will reduce the size of your sources enormously. Objective Weights The second method for adding weights only applies to classification models. Each instance will be weighted according to its class weight. This means the example below is equivalent to the example above. If every weight does end up zero (this is possible with sampled datasets), then the resulting model will have a single node with a nil output.
Each instance will be weighted individually according to the weight field's value. Confidence, importance, and pruning calculations also take weights into account. You can create an ensemble just as you would create a model with the following three basic machine learning techniques: bagging, random decision forests, and gradient tree boosting. Bagging, also known as bootstrap aggregating, is one of the simplest ensemble-based strategies but often outperforms strategies that are more complex.
The basic idea is to use a different random subset of the original dataset for each model in the ensemble. You can read more about bagging here. Random decision forests is the second ensemble-based strategy that BigML provides. It consists, essentially, in selecting a new random set of the input fields at each split while an individual model is being built instead of considering all the input fields. To create a random decision forest you just need to set the randomize argument to true.
You can read more about random decision forests here. Each tree modifies the predictions of the previously grown tree. You must specify the boosting argument in order to apply this technique. You can also list all of your ensembles. Click here to find more information about weights.
Example: 128 description optional String A description of the ensemble up to 8192 characters long. It can contain a rate (default 1), and replacement (default true), and seed parameters.
This argument can be used to change the names of the fields in the models of the ensemble with respect to the original names in the dataset.
It can also be used to tell BigML that certain fields should be preferred. All the fields in the dataset Specifies the fields to be included as predictors in the models of the ensemble. Example: flase name optional String, default is dataset's name The name you want to give to the new ensemble. This parameter is ignored for boosted trees. See the Gradient Boosting section for more information.
Example: "000003" ordering optional Integer, default is 0 (deterministic). Specifies the type of ordering followed to build the models of the ensemble. There are three different types that you can specify: 0 Deterministic 1 Linear 2 Random For more information, see the Section on Shuffling. See the Section on Random Decision Forests for further details.
